Other Technical Jobs in Vermont

Some industries are similar to welding, and these are:

Soldering And Brazing

Soldering and brazing is still a connection of metals just like welding, but there are a few differences.

In welding, the temperature needs to be higher compared to the other 2 practices.

A welder doesn’t work with any additional substances, while solders and brazers use fillers to fuse the materials together.

Brazing creates more sturdy structures than soldering, but the strongest ones are achieved with welding.

Other Job Options

You may want to look into:

  • Boiler-making
  • Pipe-fitting and Steamfitting

  • Sheet Metal Work

If you feel its the right option for you, choose a training school and get your certification.
