Mid Florida is one of the five campuses of the Orange Technical College. It was established in 1963 and is located on over a hundred acres of land. The campus has 4 Adult and Community Centers, 6 Instructional Service Centers, and one site at a local high school. The place is one of the most technically advanced centers in the state and is accredited by the Commission of the Council on Occupational Education.
The career programs are offered in 9 different areas. The Welding Technology program will prepare you to take the American Welding Society test and become a professional welder or welder assistant.

Westside Tech is one of the five campuses of the Orange Technical College located in Central Florida. Individuals study with highly qualified teachers and are able to learn through custom-fit educational solutions.

Seminole State College of Florida started in 1966 as a few portable classrooms. At the moment, the college is ranked #16 in the United States for the associate degrees awarded. Seminole State College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.
The full-service education provider offers 2-year college-credit degree, bachelor degrees, specialized career certificates, and adult education. Earn a Welding Technologies Career Certificate. The program prepares the individuals for high-demand jobs in manufacturing, construction, repair and maintenance industries. The full-time program can be completed in a year. A 2-year part-time program is also available.

Lake Technical College was created in 1963. The main mission of the school is to offer a variety of high-quality career-training opportunities and to be an integral part of economic development and growth. The college is accredited by the Council on Occupational Education.
Lake Tech offers 28 programs in 9 areas and great partnerships with business and industry. Welding Technology is part of the Manufacturing department. After completing the 36-week course, the graduates will be able to work on power plants, in aviation and transportation, in welding repair shops, and underwater. Moreover, Ridge Technical College is an authorized testing center for various industry certifications.
The center offers a wide range of programs in 29 areas! The Welding Technology program prepares individuals for employment as welders in the repair, construction, and fabrication industry. Students will not only learn techniques of metal layout and fabrication, but also communication, employability, human relations, and leadership skills.
